defense of her non-vote on SB100.  Our climate is changing rapidly – we’re all aware of the devastating fires, hurricanes and cracking Arctic ice.   California is a recognized leader in fighting climate change. We have to move ahead as rapidly as possible to address the crisis.  What we do in this state has ripple effects around the country and world. Perhaps SB100 didn’t include everything Aguilar-Curry wanted. But by denying support, she “voted” against the interests of the millions of people in California who are not her    voters, but who will also live on the earth severely affected by climate change.
