On Friday afternoon the Yolo County Elections Office announced the two locations in Winters for the November General Elections voter assistance center and ballot drop off box.
The voter assistance center will be located at the Winters Community Center, 201 Railroad Ave. The voter assistance center will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. from Oct. 31 to Nov. 2 and from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on election day (Tuesday, Nov. 3).
At the voter assistance center Winters residents can drop off completed vote-by-mail ballots; replace vote-by-mail ballots and envelopes; vote a regular (live) ballot; receive language assistance and accommodations; find accessible voting machines; complete same-day voter registration and conditional voter registration; and cast a provisional vote.
The designated ballot drop off box in Winters will be located inside at Lorenzo’s Market, 121 E. Grant Ave.
Voters can begin to drop their completed ballots in the box from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. beginning Monday, Oct. 5 through Tuesday, Nov. 3.
