Winters AYSO opens fall soccer registration, seeking volunteers

Registration for the Winters AYSO Fall 2022 soccer season is open to the community, and the board is seeking volunteers to help make the season a success.

There are no in-person registration events this year. All Winters AYSO Region 436 players must be registered to play online at Families who already have an account due to a child playing in a previous season do not need to create a new account, and will instead log in with the email address already associated with the account.

Families adding new players must submit the participating child’s birth certificate and a photo online in one of the approved listed formats. The photo should be a clear current headshot of the participating child. Photos are used for the players identifications cards if their teams advance on to any tournaments at the end of the season.

The youngest division is 6U – Coed for children who turn four years old in 2022 to six years old. Divisions go up by age through 14U for boys and girls.

This year’s registration fees are:
Early Bird: $95 per player through May 31.
Regular Registration: $120 per player through June 30.
Late Registration: $120 per player.

Winters AYSO will not be charging a late registration fee this season, however after June 30 registrations will only be accepted until teams are filled. In the situation teams are filled, a waitlist will be activated and will only pull to fill spots or if there are enough for a full team with coaches.

The above registration fees do not include the National AYSO fee of $20 per player.

Uniforms are not included with registration this season. Players who previously played will use the same uniform kits from the 2021 season going forward. Players who are in need of a new uniform, are playing 14U for the first time, or are a new player will need to order uniforms online. Ordering details are available on the Registration page on the Winters AYSO website.

Alissa Clark, Winters AYSO Regional Commissioner, said they are looking for community members and families to take on volunteer roles including: coaches and assistant coaches, referees and serving on the board.
