Winters Fire and Police Departments are hosting a fundraising event on Sunday to benefit Winters residents impacted by the LNU Lightening Complex Fire.
The Fire & Police Fire Relief Fundraiser will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Winters Fire Department (700 Main St.) on Sept. 13.
The event will host a car wash, and churros and Kona Ice will also be available for purchase.
Winters Fire will also be out to receive Fill the Boot donations.
Social distancing guidelines will be followed and masks will be required to participate.
Winters Fire Chief Brad L. Lopez said anyone who is interested in volunteering at the event should contact Kitsia Pelayo, Volunteer Firefighter and event coordinator, at kitsiapelayo1220@yahoo.com.
