Yolo County
Press Release
In partnership with Elica Health Centers, Yolo County Public Health is offering free Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) testing for uninsured residents from July 13–17 from 9 a.m.–4 p.m. (closed from 12–1 p.m.) at the Elica Health Center, located at 1276 Halyard Dr. in West Sacramento.
An outdoor medical tent will be set up in the lot at Elica Health Center. This testing location is first come, first served until tests run out. This location is free for all ages who have no insurance and residents with active Medi-Cal accounts can also be tested at this site with no out of pocket cost.
This is not antibody testing; this is to test if individuals currently have COVID-19. Residents must wear a face covering and practice social distancing. This location is not a drive-thru so residents will need to park their car and walk a short distance to the tent, however residents with handicap placards may be able to park in designated handicap parking spots and be tested from their vehicle.
Residents will receive their test results between 3-10 days via email or patient portal. Individuals with positive results will be contact by health professionals with instructions and guidance.
