Fundraising efforts are a tad behind in the aftermath of the COVID pandemic. Winters High School classes and parents had been unable to fully execute fundraising efforts during school closures, and strict guidelines prevented many in-person events.

Cornhole tournament
The WHS Grad Nite Parent Group is working hard to continue to raise funds for a Safe and Sober Grad Nite opportunity for the WHS Class of 2022 through a cornhole event and the sale of Chance Only Tickets.

The Grad Nite Parent Group is hosting a cornhole tournament at Hooby’s Brewing on Saturday, April 23. The social tournament begins at 1 p.m. and the competitive tournament begins at 4:30 p.m.

Teams can register to participate using the Scoreholio app. The $100 registration fee includes two drink tickets and commemorative glasses. Teams can pay the registration via Venmo or by sending a check payable to “WHS Grad Nite Parent Group” to P.O. Box 377, Winters, CA 95694.

Questions regarding the tournament can be directed to Terri Tuttle through text or phone at 530-574-3503.

Chance only tickets
The group is also selling Chance Only Tickets to help raise funds. The Chance Only Ticket drawing will occur during the cornhole tournament event on Saturday, April 23.

The Chance Only Tickets are being sold for $25 each. A grand prize winner will receive a $3,000 cash prize, and the runner up will receive a $1,000 cash prize.

Ticket can be purchased from any Grad Nite Parent Group member, requested by emailing wintersgradnite@gmail.com or by filling out the form digitally at bit.ly/3Dp0d8s.

Once the form is filled out, individuals can send payment through Venmo to @WHSGradNite or by making a check payable to “WHS Grad Nite Parent Group” and sending to P.O. Box 377, Winters, CA 95694.

Questions regarding tickets can be directed to Jill Aguiar through text or phone at 530-304-7498.
