Hotel Winters opening set for first week of September

The official opening date for the upcoming downtown hotel is set for the first week of September.

hotel’s website states that the hotel will be opening in the summer of 2019. Barmaper reports that Hotel Winters is already looking at 90 percent occupancy in September. The delays to the opening dates of Hotel Winters and a Fairfield Inn have lead to cutbacks in the city budget. “We are excited and anxiously await the opening of the Hotel Winters,” City Manager John Donlevy said when asked for a comment on the downtown hotel opening. “A nice project which we are sure will be an important addition to Winters and the vitality of the downtown.”
