This is a high-level discussion for overall site plan, which will serve as the basis for environmental review and technical studies. The EIR has been on hold pending finalization of the site plan.”

Trepa said the public is welcome to listen to the presentations and discussions and provide comment at the end of the meeting.

Upcoming cemetery closure
The Winters Cemetery may close as soon as October 10 as construction for a new well and enclosure begins. This construction will continue for seven to ten days. During this time the cemetery must remain closed for public safety. Signs are posted at both gates. Students walking to school must use the path outside the west fence. The Winters Cemetery District Board of Trustees and management said they regret the closure, but look forward to having a green cemetery again.
