Winters residents, and others community neighbors, will be able to register for a free, COVID-19 Community Testing event scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 4.
Yolo County Public Health will be hosting the free community COVID testing event from 4-8 p.m. in the Winters Healthcare parking lot (on the East Side by Dollar General).
Christopher Kelsch, Winters Healthcare Executive Director, told the Express in an email that interested community members would need to register for the event, but there will be an opportunity for “drop-ins” and those individuals would fill out the registration information then.
Interested individuals should register online beforehand at https://www.avellinocoronatest.com/patient/.
Individuals will not be able to select a time when filling out the registration form, nor will they receive confirmation of registration.
Winters Healthcare is located at 172 E. Grant Ave. in Winters. The Community COVID testing event is not a drive-through testing location. Results will be emailed 48 to 72 hours after the lab has received the test sample though there may be some delays.
