Winters Senior Commission will resume to in-person meetings

The Winters Senior Commission on Aging announced they would resume to in-person meetings on Nov. 9.

Cheryl Sandoval, Senior Commission Chair, told the Express they hope to have a more detailed meeting in November, and that Zoom teleconferencing caused challenges that impacted the duration of meetings and the access to them in recent months

The next Winters Senior Commission on Aging meeting is scheduled on Wednesday, Nov. 9 at 5:30 p.m. in the City Hall large conference room — Abbey Street entrance, adjacent to the Council Chambers at 318 First St.

Seeking a commissioner
City staff continue working to recruit community members to apply to fill a vacant seat following the Sept. 14 resignation of Commissioner Wally Pearce. The open term is expected to expire in June 2023.
