Bayla Garcia, a freshman at Winters High School, is the Pisani’s Athlete of the Week. Garcia, a two sport athlete, currently plays on the varsity softball team following contributing to a successful soccer season for the Warriors. Garcia has proven herself to be a valuable asset to the softball team as one of the starting pitchers and a leader in runs scored. “Bayla pitched a total of six innings in the two games combined against Paradise. She also led the team for the week in hits and runs scored,” said head coach Buddy Berry. Garcia ranked above the national average in runs earned, innings pitched, strike-outs and on base percentage.
