Athlete of the week: Diego Valencia

Diego Valencia is a sophomore at Winters High School and is this week’s Athlete of the Week. Valencia is on the swim team where he is the lead male swimmer for the team. Valencia swims in three events for the swim team: The 50 yard freestyle, the 100 yard freestyle and the 200 yard freestyle relay. In the relay Valencia swims the first leg, setting the pace for the rest of the relay team. In the Individual freestyle events Valencia has consistently placed first throughout the season.]]>
