John Rominger, a Winters High School senior, is the Pisani’s Athlete of the Week. A veritable human-torpedo in the water, Rominger has also proven to be a swim team leader all-season long. Not just with his spirit, but with his speed that keeps that team in contention in every meet. “John rarely misses a swim practice. At the pool, John sets himself ambitions goals and works very hard to meet them. He’s also one of the first ones to offer help,” said head coach Melanie Ellison. “John, a man of few words, leads our team’s chants with gusto and spirit.”
