Boys Varsity Basketball: Warriors win two of three

The boys Varsity basketball team played in three games this week. On Monday, Dec. 10, the Warriors traveled to East Nicolaus where they played in a non-conference game. On Thursday, Dec. 13 the Warriors hosted Esparto in a non-conference game. On Friday, Dec. 14 the Warriors hosted Rio Vista High School in a home non-conference game. The Warriors played East Nicolaus on Monday in an away non-conference game. At the end of the of the first half the score was 32-28 in East Nicolaus’ favor. In the second half the Warriors retook the court and completely changed the game. They managed to control the court and kept the Trojans scoring to 12 points. The Warriors won the game with a score of 51-44. On Thursday the Warriors hosted Esparto High School in a non-conference game. The game was well balanced in the first quarter. At the end of the half the score was 30-21. With long passes down court and keeping the ball moving fast, the Warriors kept a wide range in the score The game was a win with a final score of 59-39. On Friday the Warriors hosted the Rio Vista Rams in a non-conference game. The game was evenly matched in both offense and defense. The final score of the game was 59-58, which resulted in a loss. Next week the boys Varsity basketball team will host Vacaville Christian in a non-conference game. At the end of the week the Warriors will travel to Vacaville Christian for a tournament. ]]>
