Winters High School played in one home game this week, and then traveled to Vacaville to play in a tournament at Vacaville Christian High School. On Monday, Dec. 17, the Warriors hosted Vacaville Christian in a non-conference game. In the Vacaville Christian game the Warriors played against a team equal skill. At the end of the of the first half the score was 28-24 in Vacaville Christian’s favor. By the second half the Warriors retook the court. It came done to the last three seconds of the game, when the Warriors lost the game with a score of 53-51. “We had the ball in the last six seconds and the score was tied. There was a turnover of the ball. They shot the ball in the last three seconds and–done,” said Coach Jason Davis. The boys Varsity  basketball team will travel to Petaluma to play in a non-conference game against St. Vincent De Paul High School on Saturday, Dec. 29. Their next home game will be on Saturday, Jan. 5, against Woodland High School, during the “Find-A-Cure” Night game.]]>
