The Winters High School girls Varsity Basketball team played in three games this week. The Warriors started the week off at home hosting a non-conference game against Vacaville Christian. The game ended in a loss, with a final score of 54-24. In the game against Vacaville Christian The warriors fell to extreme high pressure defense. The Vaca Christian Falcons moved fast across the court, intercepting many passes. They also controlled both sides of the ball and used their height advantage to control the majority of the rebounds throughout the game. During the third quarter the Warriors retook the court,  putting the pressure back on the Falcons, but the Falcons were still to fast. The Warriors lost this game with a final score of 49-29. Next week for the girls Varsity basketball team will travel to Dixon for the Ram Jam Tournament. The next home game will be on Saturday, Jan. 5, during the Find-A-Cure Night game against Woodland High School. ]]>
