Varsity Softball adds two losses

The Winter High School varsity softball team had a home conference doubleheader on Tuesday, April 23. The Warriors were still feeling pumped after their triumph over Durham from last week. Early on in the first game the Warriors learned it was going to be a fight. In the first game, Makynsie Tuttle and AliAnn Iten both had two hits. Shelby Boykin, Brooke Benson and Jillian McMillian all had one hit. Hailey White, McMillian and Iten each had one run. The final score was 16-3, a loss for the Warriors. [gallery jnewsslider="true" ids="773344,773348"] In the second game, the Warriors continue the fight. Elina Perez, Camyron Hamilton and Jillian Lopez all had one hit. Gianna Carrion, Maddie Lopez and Tuttle each had two hits. No runs crossed home plate for any scoring plays. The final score was 10-0 a loss for the Warriors. In the coming week the Warriors will play against Pierce High School on Wednesday, May 1. The Warriors will then play their last game of the season on Friday, May 3. ]]>
