Varsity Volleyball Goes 0-2 On the Week

It was a struggle for the Winters High School varsity volleyball team last week, losing both games 0-3. Winters hosted Hamilton on Tuesday, Sept.11, and lost all three sets to the Braves. In game one the Warriors lost 25-16, lost game two 25-14 and then lost the match with a 25-11 score in the third set. The Warriors hosted the Wheatland Pirates on Thursday, Sept. 13, and again struggled to win a set. Winters lost 25-13, 25-10 and 25-11. Winters will start league play this week with a road game on Tuesday, Sept. 18, at Willows and will return home on Tuesday, Sept. 25, to host Live Oak in their first home league game of the season. ]]>
