Jim and Pat Taylor celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on Saturday, April 13, 2019 at the home of their daughter and son-in-law, Debi and Doug Henner. Co-hosting the event was Jim and Pat’s younger daughter, Tina Taylor. Festivities began at 4 o’clock in the afternoon with all décor done in Butterflies (which are one of Pat’s favorites, along with Hummingbirds). Passed appetizers were provided by Buckhorn Catering, followed by a Tri-tip buffet also catered by Buckhorn. After dinner the Guests of Honor were toasted by their family and friends with a Champagne toast. Once again, using the same sterling silver Champagne glasses they used on their 40th and 50th anniversary which are the same glasses that Jim’s parents (the late Tom and Doris Taylor) used to toast their own 25th wedding anniversary. Some 60 guests joined in the festivities which included relatives and close friends. Among those attending were Jim’s younger brothers, Patrick Taylor of Woodland and Mike Taylor of Sacramento with his daughter Jenny Taylor Clark along her family all of San Francisco. Also attending were Jim and Pat’s grandchildren, Jeffrey and Heather Carbahal, Joseph and Crystal Carbahal with their children (Jim and Pat’s great grandchildren) Ethan, Evan and Erin Carbahal with her Guest Jerry, all of Winters and Casey Castillo of Vacaville, as well as Amanda Brown with her daughter Alexis and guest Kris Gibbon of Davis. Also attending, Mike Carbahal and Marie Faye, Noel Carbahal and Guest Julie, Ruben and Jeanie Martinez, Brian and Dee Cross, Ashley and Judy Jeffery, Richard and Diana Carner and Larry and Liz Justus which are all long time friends of Jim and Pat’s. Too many guests to mention but all our in their hearts. A Champagne cake as well as cupcakes were provided for the guests and then the night went on with music and dancing by “DJ Kris” I look forward to writing another one of these in 10 years. Love you Mom & Dad!!]]>
