Anna was a resident of Winters from the time she immigrated from Marchal de Lubrin Spain in 1947 at the age of 16. She passed away peacefully on April 25th. She was the youngest child of three children from parents Jose and Magdalena Ramirez Carrion, natives of Spain. Anna is survived by her daughters Annie Riley (Pat), Arleen Borchard, Donna Denton, sister-in-laws Isabel Carrion, Faustina Carrillo, Carmen Soulier (Bob), Josie Cuberos (Ralph), eight grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; numerous nephews, nieces and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband Peter W. Rubio, son Joseph, son-in-law Tony Borchard, siblings Diego Carrion and Juana Ramos and her parents. A rosary will be held at McCune Garden Chapel in Vacaville from 5–7 p.m. on Monday, May 6. Church services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday May 7 at St. Anthony’s in Winters. Anna will be greatly missed and forever in our hearts. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Yolo Hospice or a charity of your choice.]]>
