Elysha Maxine Hiscox died unexpectedly Aug. 2, 2017. Born March 11, 1986 in Vallejo, she was 31.

Elysha attended school in Winters and graduated from high school in Modesto. She resided in Davis while attending Yuba College in Woodland. While living in Davis, she attended the Center for Spiritual Living and continued in spiritual studies throughout her life.

Elysha is survived by her loving daughter, Maxine Lohlah Hiscox; parents Deborah and Samuel Hiscox; siblings Rose Hiscox, Samuel Hiscox III (Lupita), Tarah Howell Manos (Stathi); nieces Olive Hiscox Garcia, Kyrah Howell Manos; nephews Jack Hiscox Garcia, Lincoln Howell Manos; grandfather Stan Howell, uncle Jay Howell, aunts Donna Matson (Jay), Karen Howell, Judy Hiscox, Joyce Hiscox; and 12 loving cousins and their 12 children.

She was preceded in death by grandmothers Maxine Howell and Loneta Hiscox, grandfather Samuel Hiscox I, uncles Mark Howell, Keith Hiscox and Ron Hiscox, and cousins Elicia Hiscox and Jacquelyn Blatterman.

A memorial service will be held Aug. 31, 2017 at the Gibson Mansion and Historical Museum in Woodland, and will be officiated by Joyce Bahati of CSL, for family and close friends.

Additional services will be held in San Francisco and Holy Cross Cemetery in Colma at a later date.
