Jim Gurecki, 76, passed away on May 28th, 2018, of natural causes.

Jim was born in Alma, Michigan in 1942.  He was an only child of the late Joseph and Lillian Gurecki.  He graduated from St. Louis High School in Michigan in 1959.  He graduated with a degree in Construction Management from Georgia Tech in 1965.  He went on to serve his country in the Sea Bees division in the Navy in the Vietnam War. He continued to have a successful career as a project manager working on a multitude of different projects, including schools, distribution centers, and most notably, the Sundial Bridge at Turtle Bay in Redding, CA.

Jim enjoyed spending quality time with his family. Some of his favorite trips included the annual camping trip to Ice House Reservoir and vacations to Puerta Vallarta, Mexico.  We will always remember him for his kind heart, generosity, and commitment to his family.

Jim is survived by his loving wife, Mary Sloulin; daughter, Jennifer Hoffman (Jason) of Gilroy, CA; son, Aaron Gurecki (Stephanie) of Woodland, CA; son, Chris Gurecki (Jamie), of Pleasanton, CA; Grandchildren: Caitlin, Ryder, Ricky, Elle and Emme.

A service will be held on Sunday, June 10, 2018 at 2pm in Winters, CA at Green River Brewery & Taproom.  The service will be held outside in the park area located in the back.
