Charles W. Goff passed away on April 27, 2022, at the age of 84. Charles was born in Pineville, Mo. on July 11, 1937 to John and Opal Goff.
Charles met and married Beverly Kaye McBee on September 11, 1959. They moved from Winters to Dixon and then back to Winters and remained there until Beverly’s death in 1995. Together they had two children, Charlotte and Lori.
Charles served in the US Navy from 1955 to 1958. He was employed as a butcher for Armour Foods in Dixon, Calif. until a disability provided an opportunity to go back to school and then became an Electronic Technician. He worked for Coen Company in Woodland, Calif. until his retirement.
Charles was an AVID fisherman and a loyal fan of the Saint Louis Cardinal baseball and the UC Berkeley (CAL) football teams. He also loved coaching baseball for the Winters Little League for several years. More than anything else, he loved his grandkids and great-grandkids.
Charles was preceded in death by his mother and father, two brothers Allen and Kenneth Goff, his wife Beverly, and daughter Charlotte.
He is survived by his daughter Lori (Chris) and grandson Matthew, granddaughter Courtney (Brody) and great granddaughters Kaydence and Brooklyn. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Charles will be interred at the Winters Cemetery beside the love of his life, Beverly.
