Pat Joyce Jordan, 80, of Winters passed away late Friday, Feb. 10, 2017 at Woodland Memorial Hospital. Pat had been a Winters resident for 46 years. She was born in Longview, Texas on June 10, 1936 to Edward and Wanda Hahn.

She worked as a volunteer at all her children’s schools. She taught catechism at Saint Anthony’s Church in Oakland. She was active in many fundraising activities such as March of Dimes and American Cancer Society.

Pat worked for the City of Winters and the Winters Police Department. She managed and was a strong advocate for the Elderly Nutrition Program in Winters. In 2007, Pat was recognized for her work with the elderly by being named Senior Citizen of the Year.

She is survived by her brothers, Charles and Roger, and her children, Sherry, Randell, Roger, John, Christina, and Lucinda.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents Eddie and Wanda Hahn, husband John Jordan, daughter Tina Jordan Mendoza, granddaughter Patricia Mendoza, brothers Randell and Carroll, and sister Sally Duvall.

A rosary will be held Wednesday, Feb. 15, at 8 p.m. and services will be held on Thursday, Feb. 16, at 11 a.m. at St. Anthony Parish Hall. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Elderly Nutrition Program of Yolo County in Pat’s name. Family and friends are welcome to meet at St. Anthony Parish Hall after services for lunch.
