Sandra “Sandy” Kaye Willard, 64, of Dixon went to be with the Lord at Sutter Medical Center in Sacramento on Dec. 28, 2016.

Sandy is predeceased by her mother Jane Fletcher, and father Floyd Fletcher.

Sandy is survived by her loving husband Casey Willard of 37 years. They were married in Davis on March 10, 1979.

Sandy is lovingly remembered by her daughter Kelly Lowrie and her husband David; son Joseph Willard, son Casey Willard and his wife Jennifer, and daughter Anna Willard; grandchildren Kaylee Willard, Jacob, Dalton and Carson Lowrie, Christian and Noah Willard, and Maximus Willard; great-grandchildren Leah Willard and Joel Andrews; brothers Vernon and Randy Fletcher, and sisters Barbara Lepenske and Belinda Fletcher.

Sandy was born in Woodland on Nov. 22, 1952. She graduated from Winters High School in 1971. She worked at UC Davis in the Agricultural and Natural Resource department for over 25 years. She retired in 2012. Sandy then became a full-time babysitter to her wonderful grandsons.

Sandy enjoyed spending time with her family. She loved being with her grandchildren and walking around Northwest Park in Dixon. She was an active member of Grace Valley Christian Center. She loved serving God and her church. She always had a song to sing and a joyful heart. Although Sandy is not here in body, her spirit lives on in heaven forever.

The funeral service will be held at Grace Valley Christian Center, 27173 County Road 98 in Davis, on Thursday Jan. 5, at 7 p.m.

The visitation will be held at Milton Carpenters Funeral Home, 569 N. First Street in Dixon, on Friday, Jan. 6, at 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. There will be a family graveside service to follow at Silveyville Cemetary, 800 S. First Street in Dixon, at 1:30 p.m.
