Wiinters Friends of the Library (WFoL) is grateful for our wonderful supporters. On the Big Day of Giving (May2nd) we met our fundraising goal and raised $30,000! The overwhelming response was proof of how important the library is to our community. And WFoL strives to help connect and engage our community with lifelong learning opportunities for all ages by providing funds for programs and technology. We are able to do this because of generous donations, our WFoL members’ support, and our volunteers who help behind the scenes. Thank you to the Winters Express for their excellent coverage. Thank you to Berryessa Gap for allowing us to hold a social in their tasting room where we celebrated and met potential new volunteers. Thank you to the Library staff for your support. And thank you to First Northern Bank, Yolo Federal Credit Union, and Waste Management for providing matching gifts and other generous friends who gifted matching funds. We also formed a new partnership with other Winters non-profits through the Winters BDOG Collaboration to help make Winters stronger together. I urge you all to visit our library and the WFoL website (http://www.wfol.org) today to find out what programs and resources are available and coming to you soon.
