Letters: Blankets for Ukrainian children

Support Local Journalism

With the help of Pavel Tkachuk, owner of the Woodland Sew and Vacuum Center, Project Linus of Yolo County is sending 61 handmade blankets to the children of Ukraine. Pavel indicated that the blankets will go to two cities: one city is called Vinnitsa, which is located in central Ukraine, and another one is called Zolochiv, which is located in Western Ukraine. In both of the cities, there are people whom we know personally that volunteer in their churches by helping refugees fleeing from cities who lived in war zones or occupied by the Russian military. They will give the quilts to children in need and take some pictures and we will share them with you.
