Reisig and the California District Attorney’s Association (vice president Reisig) aggressively oppose evidence-based laws passed by Californians, and Yolo residents, to reduce sentencing (prop 47, Yolo approved 61 percent) and increase chances of parole (prop 57, approved 68 percent). And he is using the Yolo DA office and budget to do it.
Then the same CDAA organization misappropriates $3 million in environmental regulation money. Spent on CDAA lobbying as well. That money is meant to protect workplaces, farms and farm workers.
Rodriguez is proposing measured improvement not obstruction. Rodriguez is a veteran who has experience bringing criminals to justice, upholding victims, and keeping prosecutorial government authority in check.
