People in other countries are mystified that Donald Trump is president of this country. No doubt in the future historians will be dumbfounded over the phenomenon that propelled him into being in charge of the richest and most powerful nation on earth. How can it be explained? Why is Trump where he is and how did he do it?

The best explanation I can come up with is that Trump is afraid of nothing and he is greatly admired for it. The last time we had a president with this quality was Theodore Roosevelt, afraid of no critic or charge that could be made against him.(Both were born in New York City).
He does what he does and says what he says without flinching. He did so in the primaries where he acted like a third grader trying to put down his opponents so as to elevate himself. He said things about his rivals that none of them would say and be able to get away with. Trump, in a nutshell, is very politically incorrect. People have been tired of walking on eggshells trying not to offend anybody. When was the last time you wanted to say what you really wanted to about your boss or workplace without being fired or demoted? Trump is one person who shows he is able to cut loose against all the people one thinks are aholes. Something that could result in a lot of personal satisfaction to say the least for a lot of of people who hate their environment. He says what he thinks and does not conceal it. He has no fear!
To give an example: Trump went to Mexico when people thought he’d be skinned alive and made it back in one piece. Hillary wouldn’t do it. He doesn’t like us sending men to be in harm’s way in places like Syria or Afghanistan and is willing to tell off generals and other big shots off who have warned against it. He told the Europeans off about us not having to pay their military bills 75 years after World War II ended. He is probably willing to listen to Vladimir Putin’s ideas about getting out of Afghanistan. After all the Russians were able to do it.Putin could helpful in this regard. He could invite Putin to Mar a Lago and both of them could ride around on stallions with their shirts off and tell the press to shut up.
Here are some things Trump might do in the future and it would not be impossible to consider:
1.Trump pulls all our forces out of Afghanistan. He’s tired or our men coming home with blown off body parts and the money it’s costing us. Eighteen years in that god awful place!!! The muslim countries are infuriated, but they were also when he moved our embassy to Jerusalem. There’s hell to pay and he is willing to send them to hell if he wants to.
Trump gets tired of the French giving us a lot of flak and he makes an order for all our soldiers in military cemeteries there to be exhumed and brought back home. Those men who died to keep the French afloat do not deserve to be insulted by the ungrateful French whining about us.
3. Trump makes English the official language. (At present surprisingly it is not). He gets all the Spanish taken off ATMs and other places and forces everyone in the country to learn English. Trump understands that there is broad resentment in some parts of the country about Spanish being forced down their throats (not in California). It is similar to the Canadians not liking French being imposed on them. Puerto Rico, whose language is not English, loses any hope of reaching statehood.
4.Trump tries to find a way to get California kicked out of the union. He extends the border wall to California’s Eastern state line and cuts it off from the rest of the country.
What else do you think Trump could do? There is no limit in anyone’s thinking. He isn’t intimidated by anyone that wants to guillotine him or burn him at the stake. If he goes down he’ll go down fighting to his last breath.
I got little else to say to say except that a multitude of  people want the country to be the same as when they grew up in it.
