Democracy is a participation sport. The Winters Planning Commission wants and needs to hear from you.
The seven members of the Winters Planning Commission make many decisions that impact the future of Winters. Every issue on the agenda has a time for public input. Unfortunately, there is rarely anyone there to give their opinion or perspective. We end up making these decisions based only on our experience, personal perspective and the information in the city staff reports.
We want, value and need input from the public. We meet once a month, generally on the fourth Tuesday of the month at 6:30 p.m. at City Hall. You can go online at the City’s website and see the agenda and the write-up on each item to be discussed.
Many of our decisions are passed on to the city council for their review but often a decision we make on an item is the final decision. Your input is important.
We are all so fortunate to live in Winters. If you love and value this very special city as much as the planning commissioners do, then please participate in the process that will determine the future direction of Winters. We hope to hear from you at future planning commission meetings.
