Friends of WHS Class of 2020 hosts poker tournament

The Friends of Winters High School Class of 2020 invites the community to their fourth annual Poker Tournament. This group consists of parents who have spent the last four years helping to raise funds for the Class of 2020’s class trip, prom and other expenses during their students’ time at Winters High School. Their goal is to help all seniors have the opportunity to participate in these activities at a much lower cost.

The Friends of Winters High School Class of 2020 is hosting a poker tournament (Texas Hold’em) for adults 21 and over. There will be a $2,500 purse that pays to 8 places.

The Poker Tournament is Saturday, Nov. 9, at the Winters Community Center. Doors open at 4:30 p.m., dinner is at 5 p.m. and poker begins at 6 p.m.

Poker tickets may be purchased for $100 and include buy-in, dinner (tri-tip sandwich & beans), soda, water, snacks & dessert. Dinner tickets are $20 and include everything but the buy-in.There will be a no host bar.
