Tickets for Winters Farm to School 11th Annual Summer Feast are now on sale.

The 2022 feast, a summer favorite for folks around the county and beyond, will be held at the historic Wolfskill Ranch on Saturday, June 25 from 11:30 a.m. until 3 p.m. Tickets are $150 per person and can be purchased locally at the Winters ACE Hardware on Main Street or online at

“You may be asking yourself why I should buy a ticket,” said Cathy Olsen, a founding Board Member of Winters Farm to School and the Director of Food Services for the Winters Joint Unified School District. “After meeting the expenses for holding the feast, every penny goes toward boosting the health and well-being of kids in our schools. The whole purpose for Farm to School is to feed our school kids the healthiest meals possible. With Winters being surrounded by working farms, that means buying fresh produce, fruits and nuts from farmers right here in Yolo County. The kids love trying new foods and they are definitely eating healthier meals at school. This is good for both our kids and our farmers who benefit from selling to our schools.”

“Our Farm to School program also keeps the school garden at Waggoner green and growing. Our children have the opportunity to work in the garden … planting, watering and weeding. Those simple things teach them about science and even math. The garden is literally an outdoor classroom and funds raised at the Summer Feast help support that garden,” added Olsen.
