The Yolo County Master Gardeners are hosting two more free gardening events this month.

Year-round kitchen gardening on Sunday, June 23

Learn about stocking your kitchen with home-grown fruit, veggies and more!  Attend the free workshop on Sunday, June 23 from 2-4 p.m. at the Mary L. Stephens Library in Davis.  The location is 315 14th St. Meet in the Children’s Area Conference Room. UCCE Yolo County Master Gardeners will discuss summer planting and care of edible flowers, fruit trees, herbs and vegetables.

Gardening by the month on Saturday, June 29

Come to a free workshop on Saturday, June 29 from 11 a.m.-12 p.m. in Woodland at the Woodland Edible Learning Garden located at Court & 1st St. UCCE Yolo County Master Gardeners Treva Valentine and Mary Foe will discuss what to plant,  grow and harvest on a monthly basis. Participants will learn about vegetables, herbs, tree fruits, berries and edible flowers for your home garden.
