AUGUST 25: 9:11 a.m., Ismael Herrera Avalos, 20, of Winters was issued a notice to appear for being an unlicensed driver.
AUGUST 28: 5:35 p.m., John Kevin Pocza, 54, a transient, was arrested on an outstanding Del Norte Sheriff bench warrant charging him with failure to comply on two counts of vandalism. Pocza was transported to Yolo County Jail for incarceration.
~ 6:53 p.m., 500 block of Railroad Avenue, an Officer responded to an audible alarm. The business was found secure.
~ 9:06 p.m., 600 block of Second Street, parties were involved in a verbal domestic dispute.
AUGUST 29: 2:32 p.m., 600 block of Ivy Loop, parties were involved in a verbal domestic dispute.
AUGUST 30: 2:10 a.m., first block of East Main Street, officers responded to an audible alarm. The business was found secure.
~ 3:47 a.m., I-505 at Russell Boulevard, officers assisted California Highway Patrol with an attempt to locate a pedestrian walking on the freeway.
~ 9:54 a.m., Servando Ybarra, 36, of Madison was arrested for being in possession of methamphetamine. Ybarra was booked at Winters Police Department and transported to Yolo County Jail for incarceration. Ybarra was also issued a notice to appear for driving with a suspended/revoked driver’s license.
~ 11 p.m., Columbia Way and Valley Oak Drive, an officer had contact with a subject determined to be on active, searchable probation. A search revealed nothing of evidentiary value.
AUGUST 31: 1:50 a.m., Thomas Alan Johnson, 54, of Winters was issued a notice to appear for driving with a suspended/revoked driver’s license.
~ 1:56 p.m., Michael Steven Ransdell, 52, of Winters was issued a notice to appear for driving with a suspended/revoked driver’s license.
~ 3:24 p.m., a citizen was a victim of identity theft.
SEPTEMBER 1: 10:15 a.m., James Patrick Vorhees, 27, of Woodland was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol. Vorhees was transported to Yolo County Jail for incarceration.
~ 11:09 p.m., 400 block of Railroad Avenue, an officer responded to an audible alarm. The business was found secure.
SEPTEMBER 2: 8:20 a.m., Francisco Vidal Villasenor-Morales, 24, of Sacramento was issued a notice to appear for being an unlicensed driver.
SEPTEMBER 5: 1:02 a.m., 100 block of East Grant Avenue, forcible entry was gained to a business causing damage to the business and items were stolen. Damage and loss: $1,500.
