June 6-7: 8:00 pm-9:00 am, On the 800 block of Hemenway Street, property was stolen from the front porch of a residence. Loss – $800.

June 14: 10:20 pm, On the first block of Main Street, Officers responded to an audible business alarm. It was determined the alarm was accidentally activated.

June 16: 11:09 am, On the 1000 block of Kennedy Drive, an Officer responded to an audible alarm. The residence was found secure.

June 17: On the first block of Anderson Avenue, parties were involved in a verbal dispute.

June 18: 8:35 am, On the 100 block of East Baker Street, an apartment was entered and property was stolen. Loss – $20.
~2:31 pm, On the 900 block of Ireland Street, property was reported stolen from inside a residence, which occurred 5/10/18. Loss – $5,000

June 19-20: Unk., On the 400 block of Anderson Avenue, an office window was shattered. Damage – $400.

June 20: 12:22 pm, On the 400 block of Russell Street, Officers responded to an audible alarm. The residence was found secure.

June 22: 5:12 pm, A 17-year-old Winters juvenile was issued a notice to appear for being an unlicensed driver and failing to stop at a stop sign.
~6:50 pm, Ayla Roxanne Cueva, 31, of Cobb was issued a notice to appear for driving with a suspended/revoked driver’s license.

June 22-25: 4:00 pm-8:00 am, On the 400 block of Moody Slough Road, construction equipment was vandalized. Damage – $8,000.
~4:00 pm-8:00 am, On the 400 block of Anderson Avenue, a surveillance camera was stolen. Loss – $200.

June 23: 8:52 am, On the 400 block of Railroad Avenue, Officers responded to an audible alarm. The business was found secure.
~11:00 am, On the 100 block of East Grant Avenue, a known suspect took victim’s vehicle without permission. The vehicle was recovered in Vallejo by Solano County Sheriff’s Department. The case is being forwarded to the District Attorney for complaint.
~4:19 pm, At County Roads 89 and 29A, Officers assisted Yolo County Sheriff’s Department with a felony vehicle stop to apprehend a wanted subject.
~8:19 pm, On the 200 block of Railroad Avenue, Officers responded to an audible alarm. The business was found secure.
~10:27 pm, Christopher Michael Cassidy, 30, of Winters was arrested on an outstanding Solano County Sheriff bench warrant charging him with failure to appear on previous charges of grand theft and possessing a controlled substance. Cassidy was booked at Winters Police Department and released on a notice to appear.

Woman shot to death in Winters; manhunt on

A manhunt was underway Monday night for the suspect in a shooting in downtown Winters that left a 32-year-old woman dead and stunned a community not used to such violent displays. While the victim's name was not yet released by coroner's officials, friends and colleagues identified the slain woman as Leslie Pinkston, a 1999 graduate of Winters High School and the mother of a young daughter. Twelve hours after the shooting, Winters police announced they had obtained an arrest warrant for Pinkston's ex-boyfriend, 30-year-old William Carl Gardner III of Sacramento, in connection with the fatal shooting. Chief Sergio Gutierrez said Gardner should be considered "armed and dangerous."
