Tradicionals Car Club, in collaboration with Downtown Vacaville BID, Neighborhood Hope Dealer and local BBQ masters 2 Chubbz-N-A-Rub are bringing holiday cheer to families in need at the second annual Holiday Car Show Toy Drive and Giveaway.

Event organizer and Tradicionals Car Club member Chris Roark explains, “Last year was a successful, grassroots effort to help bring some Christmas spirit to our local families. This year, we are all looking forward to bringing our event to the heart of Vacaville. Seeing the smiles and genuine appreciation from all those that attended truly embodied the strength of our community and holiday spirit.”

The free event will take place Saturday, Dec. 18 from 3–5 p.m. at the Creekwalk Plaza in Andrews Park. Entrance and main registration site will be on the bridge where Main meets Davis Street in Downtown Vacaville. This event is rain or shine.

A collection of lowriders and show cars will be on display. Local food vendors, business owners and entertainers will be donating their time to make the holidays merry and bright for our local families in need. Children under 12 who register onsite will receive a donated toy and hot food while supplies last. Family activities, community resources and entertainment are also planned including Ballet Folklorico and visits with Santa.

Want to donate? Unwrapped toys for children 12 and under, gift cards and monetary donations can be dropped off at the Downtown Vacaville BID office at 313 Parker St. during normal business hours.

Celebrating 10 years, the Tradicionals Car Club consists of two divisions: Bay Area and the city of Los Angeles. Suisun-based 501(c)3 charity nonprofit Neighborhood HOPE Dealer works city by city and block by block to bring Christmas to every community. Award-winning BBQ pitmasters 2 Chubbz-N-A Rub will be donating a limited amount of meals.
