Athlete of the Week – Mallory Layne

Mallory Layne is a junior at Winters High School and captain for the girls soccer team. She is this week’s Pisani’s Athlete of the Week. Layne scored two goals to ensure the Warriors victory over Wheatland at the Feather River Soccer tournament. She has been a strong contributor for the team since her freshman year. Coach Kim Olivas said she is a joy to have on the team.  “Mallory brings humor at every practice and game, and is a very positive person,” said Olivas. “The coaches are looking forward to a great season for Mallory.”
