Gianna Carrion, of the Winters High School girls varsity basketball team, is the Pisani’s Athlete of the Week. Although it’s been a tough season so far for the Warriors squad, Carrion provides consistent numbers and a burst of energy on both ends of the court. “She has a great attitude and gets a little silly at times,” head coach Matt Cooley spoke of his sophomore talent. “But that’s better than being frustrated and blaming others.”]]>
