Jasmine Jimenez, a Winters High School junior, is the Pisani’s Athlete of the Week. In the spring season, Jimenez competed on the junior varsity softball team where she took to pitching and began working on her skills. Coach Buddy Berry said that while she didn’t pitch a game, she helped give the team some innings and was all heart. Jimenez’s pitching experience spanned across the three games the team played. She continued to build and improve upon her technique. Jimenez helped lead the team to two victories assisting on the mound against schools larger than Winters.
