The junior varsity boys basketball team laced up their shoes in a pre-season showdown against I-80 rivals, Buckingham Charter High School. The game’s forecast was cloudy with a chance of 3’s, and Memo Valadez rained down seven of his own while teammate Marcus Lopez took care of business inside the arch. The resilient Knights would weather the storm, however, and snag a 58-48 victory. Albeit a loss, the future looks bright for this young Warriors team. ]]>
