In this coming week the Warriors will start the week off with a bye game on Tuesday, then on Thursday the Warriors will play in the only game this week, which is a Sacramento Valley League home game. The Warriors have only two home games left in the season. On Thursday the seniors of the team will be honored. During this game the Warriors will be recognizing seven players for their years of dedication to the WHS volleyball teams. These seven seniors include Jocelyn McMillan, who has played the position of Libero this year. As Libero, McMillan has been a leader and friend to the other members of the team. The other six players have been as important as McMillan as setters and outside hitters. The six players are Elina Perez, Maggie McCrary, Emilia Orosco, Aide Aguilera, Molly Moore and Kennedy Rivera. The team has a solid core of experience this year to take on some tough teams in the league. The recognition ceremony for these members of the WHS volleyball team will be held between the junior varsity and varsity games. The seven seniors are expected to receive flowers and to be accompanied by their biggest supporters and fans: Their parents. The Buckhorn food truck will be at the game selling tri-tip and pulled pork sandwiches. A portion of the proceeds will go to the volleyball program.]]>
