<![CDATA[By Jim Hewlett Special to the Express The classic story of Anne Sullivan, blind tutor to the deaf and blind Helen Keller, will come to life on the Winters Theatre Company stage this spring. It is a sheer battle of wills as Anne works to break down the psychological walls that Helen has created. William Gibson’s story of persistence, courage, and patience will resonate with everyone who has ever battled any type of illness, difficulty, or challenge. The gala opening of “The Miracle Worker” will be on Friday, March 13 at 7 p.m., and this will include complimentary cheesecake, champagne, coffee, and soft drinks. Tickets will be $15 for everyone at the gala. Other shows will be at 7:30 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays through March 28, and on Sundays at 2 p.m. on March 15, 22, and 29. Ticket prices for shows other than the gala will be $15 for adults, and $12 for seniors and children 12 and under. Winters Theatre Company is bringing William Gibson’s “The Miracle Worker” to the stage starting mid-March.
