The second annual Winters Theatre Company (WTC) 10-Minute Play Festival will be produced in an online podcast format, debuting on Saturday Jan. 23, 2021, on the WTC website at winterstheatre.org.
The podcast format provides a way to produce the festival in a COVID-safe environment, as well as opportunities for playwrights, directors, and actors to interact with a new format. The completed podcast will consist of two acts of four plays each, similar in format to the live performances at the Winters Theatre Company inaugural 10-Minute Festival in January 2020.
At this time, the Winters Theatre Company welcomes 10-minute scripts from playwrights. There is no specific theme, and each playwright can submit up to three scripts. A complete list of submission requirements, and contact information, is posted on the Winters Theatre website at winterstheatre.org. The deadline for submissions is Friday Nov. 6 at 5 p.m. PST.
