The Winters Theatre Company will be holding auditions for Mark Smith’s “The Viewing Room” on Tuesday, Aug, 20 and Wednesday, Aug. 21 at 7 p.m. in the Winters Community Center. The cast consists of five men and three women, ages ranging from 30s to 70s. “The Viewing Room” is a comedy-drama that brings to life the story of a father who dies, but then unexpectedly “returns” to handle some unresolved issues with his wife and children. It is a unique script that inspires many laughs and tears. The show will take place the first two weekends of October. The annual Winters Theatre Company holiday production — this year, "The Wizard of Oz" — officially kicks off the holiday season in Winters, California.
