Woodland-Davis Aeromodelers Press Release The public is invited to attend the Woodland-Davis Aeromodelers annual “Wings of Victory”  World War II scale radio-control aircraft meet from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, June 25, 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, June 26, and 9:30 a.m. to noon Sunday June 27. There will be scale models of  World War II warbirds, including American, British, German, Russian and Japanese aircraft of that era such as P-51s, P-40s, Me-109s,  Zeros, Spitfires, P-47, and multi-engine bombers such as B-17 and B-25s. The event will be at the Woodland-Davis Model Field on Road 29, 1.3 miles east of Road 102 north of Davis. It is southwest of the Yolo County Landfill on road 28H. Road 29 is the gravel road on the south levy bank of the drainage canal. An online map is at www.wdarc.org/Map.htm. Attendance is free. Food and drinks will be available.
