Fatima Guzman, a senior at Winter High School, is the Pisani’s Athlete of the Week. Guzman has been a four-year starter and team captain for their women’s soccer team for the past two years. She is also the League Defensive MVP for the last two years as goalkeeper. Guzman has scored three goals and gave an assist this season in addition to being the most respected goalkeeper in the northern section. “She is such a wonderful asset on the field. She has incredible field vision and leadership skills,” said coach Kim Olivas. “Her love and knowledge of the game is inspiring. She is also an excellent student and leader on campus.”
