The City of Winters is gearing up for the annual July 3 Fireworks Show.

City Manager Kathleen Salguero Trepa said the City is currently accepting applications for food trucks and vendors.

Last year’s Fireworks Show featured a variety of food trucks parked along Hemenway Street

The City is also looking to collect donations to fund the fireworks display. In her City Manager’s update, Trepa said the total cost is $20K to put on a successful fireworks display.

“We have $4,500 in the fund from last year, so $16,000 would cover costs with nothing left over,” Trepa said.

Trepa told the Express she is thankful the Mariani Nut Co. is for letting the City use the lots again this year.

“The parking revenue and donation at the gates help pay for the event,” Trepa said.
