Express staff writer Rick von Geldern captured images of a power pole on the 100 block of Russell Street that had been damaged due to the strong winds. He spoke with a traffic control worker on scene who said someone heard a cracking sound and saw the pole leaning. A crew was summoned, the street detoured and they went to work to replace the pole.
