By Sheila Allen Special to the Express Join in for a free two-day webinar series on how to prevent falls in the senior community June 28 and 29. Learn about fall risk factors, ways to mitigate risk, and changes to your home that can help reduce falls. The event will include information about recent research on fall prevention and Yolo County resources, followed by the opportunity for attendees to ask questions. This event is in collaboration with Fit Deb Training’s, Deborah Eernisse, who will be demonstrating muscle strengthening and fall prevention exercises live for all participants to follow along and practice at home. Each webinar series will be held live via Zoom with call in option available. Both webinars will also be recorded and distributed via the Yolo Healthy Aging Alliance website, the Yolo Healthy Aging Alliance YouTube channel, and broadcasted on cable through Davis Media Access.
