The rates for garbage, recycling and green waste collection in Winters is set to increase effective Aug. 1.
Waste Management notified the city after an annual rate review of a 3.19 percent increase. A notification was sent out to residents in the July City Water bill.
The new bi-monthly rate is:
- A 32-gallon garbage toter with a 96-gallon green/yard waste and a 96-gallon recycle toter will increase to $39.02.
- A 64-gallon garbage toter with green/yard waste and recycle toter will increase to $43.08.
- A 96-gallon garbage toter with green/yard waste and recycle toter will increase to $50.49.
